Cookie policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
This policy describes what information the harasiewicz.pl website stores on or reads from your device, what external content it may display and how you can manage your consents. It supplements the Privacy Policy. The rules described below derive from Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej) and from the GDPR.
In brief
- The website itself does not store analytics or advertising cookies. We do not measure traffic or display advertisements.
- We store only what is strictly necessary in your browser: your consent decision and the chosen language, if you choose it using a flag.
- The Google map is displayed only after you give your consent. Without consent, no data is sent to Google.
- You can change your decision at any time in “Cookie settings” in the website footer.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. A similar role is played by the browser’s local storage (localStorage), in which a website can keep simple settings. Both technologies allow a website to remember information between visits. They do not change the configuration of your device or the software installed on it.
Strictly necessary mechanisms
The following entries are necessary for the website to work in line with your choice. Under Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, they do not require consent.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
consent |
browser local storage | remembering your consent decision so that we do not ask you on every visit | 12 months, after which we will ask again |
lang |
browser local storage | remembering the language version chosen using a flag so that the website opens in that language on your next visit; stored only after you click a flag | 12 months |
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare cookie | protecting the website against automated traffic (bots); set when bot protection is enabled, not used for advertising tracking | up to 30 minutes of inactivity |
Entries in local storage remain on your device and are not sent to us.
External content requiring consent
| Service | Provider | Purpose | What happens after consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google map | Google Ireland Limited | displaying a directions map in the contact section | the browser connects to Google’s servers, which may store and read their own cookies and receive your IP address |
The basis for displaying the map is your consent (Article 399(1) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give consent in the consent window or using the “Show Google map” button in place of the map. Refusing does not limit your use of the website: instead of the map, you can use the “Get directions” button, which opens Google Maps in a new tab. Details about Google cookies can be found in Google’s information on technologies, and you can manage your Google account settings at g.co/privacytools.
Links to other services
The booking buttons lead to the Medfile system, and the link next to the doctor’s rating leads to the doctor’s profile on Medfile. Once you go to these services, their own cookie rules apply.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can open “Cookie settings” in the website footer at any time and change your decision. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of displaying the map before its withdrawal.
You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings or block them from being stored. After the harasiewicz.pl site data is deleted, the website will ask for your consent again and will no longer remember your chosen language. Blocking cookies entirely may make it difficult to use some websites.
Instructions for the most popular browsers:
Browser settings must be changed separately on each device and in each browser you use.
